P O R T A L
This composition have been created with a combination of techniques including 3D and postproduction. First by modeling the door, the sphere and the dessert, I create an environment, playing with colors and textures.
The second step is put on some plants into the camera path to recreate the depth of jungle at the other side of the door.

The last step is the combination of the image with an empty door and the second render with the door full of plants at the other side. Using masks and some post production we can create the effect of a deep jungle at the other side of the door.
