This salad dressing company was looking for stronger shelf presence. The designer’s concept included fitting more on the shelf by turning the product 90 degrees, making its side now it’s face. This small change allowed for more of the product to sit on the shelf, thus providing a more dominating shelf presence. My sketch demonstrates how many more bottles can now sit on the shelf, compared to other similar products, still occupying the same amount of space.
