After three completely different campaigns in 2013, 2014 & 2015, Imagine Film Festival was completely rebranded in 2016. The core of the identity is a custom designed typeface in stencil and 'normal' weight and the concept of suggestion.
Imagine sees fantastic film as a rich source of thought experiments that anticipate or reflect on social and technological developments. Together with the audience and professionals, Imagine examines the relationship between the legacy of fantastic film and current developments in society. Imagine presents serious themes, but always in an appealing and accessible manner.
 
Imagine brings together filmmakers, guests, journalists and a general audience. Imagine offers Dutch filmmakers a platform for their films and put the international spotlight on it. We support the development of their projects and connect them with foreign festival programmers, producers, journalists and professionals.
 
Imagine is not a festival of VIP areas and shielded red carpets. Imagine is an accessible, approachable, audience friendly festival, and actively engages the audience. The festival programme is a mix of films and events for a variety of visitors.

It's made very easy for all employees to add movies & news to the website.
The timetable is even generated based on the info.
The website was developed with the best usability for both host and visitors in mind. The main goal was to provide an easy to use festival guide and selling tickets while being easily accessible the on mobile phones.
Campaign
 
To make everybody aware of the new identity the whole campaign was based around the typeface. Clean, bold and powerful.
