© odonodesign 2017. The British Gas App is currently very outdated and needed redeveloping from the ground up. I personally took it upon myself to redesign the app UI to make it more intuitive to use, especially when it comes to viewing usage history (blue screen). The nice landscape graph also depicts usage over the four seasons. The login screen is a lot clearer for people with poor eye sight (especially the elderly and vulnerable). The menu is bigger and the usage previewer clearly gives you a nice depiction of how much energy you're currently using compared to the rest of the Country. And lastly, the meter reading submission tool is a lot nicer and uses IOS's number scroll feature. Enjoy!
Boden Fashion Landing Page. You can view the HTML/CSS here: http://bit.ly/Boden-odono. I had an interview at the lovely Boden Head Offices for a Design role. I got through to the second stage and this was their design challenge. A landing page design for the Boden Fashion Brand. Strictly in line with their print collateral. A summer scene with a pink flare to the left which creates an ambient feel. The font is subtle and the main focus is on the striking gold and white top the model is wearing. A button leads to the call to action.
I completed this campaign while working for Tribal DDB (an advertising agency) working on a Volkswagen Fuel Emissions campaign. The iconography was developed and organised in such a way it a lot easier on the eye than their current design "Think Blue" campaign. The icons were made from scratch and the rendered vehicle asset was supplied. All in all a nice UI project.
