Beauty Beyond Measure 是一個以平面設計歷史為背景的作品，相信’格線‘對於排版而言是一個不可或缺的重要工具，以家鄉臺南為主軸，發展出六個故事，拆解中文關鍵字，展覽主軸使用透明壓克力板層層堆疊組合成一張完整的平面設計，從不同角度看，不同的壓克力板上的部首，都可能隨機組合成一個完整的中文字( 同樣格線規格)。
除了2D之外，更製作了3D的透視懸掛壓克力，讓觀眾在隨機走動的時候，也可以在空中看到組合的文字，也能更深入其境的體會到格線整齊劃一的實際作用。
另外，更以六張海報的文字結合攝影傳達新的屬於台南的地方故事。
Beauty Beyond Measure is a project which celebrates the power of the grid through the creation of original typographic layouts by means of layers and transparency; and layouts have been handled in the same manner as typesetters from the golden era of letterpress when movable type was
composed by hand. Additionally, elements of “perspective” have been applied to the layouts with the aim of transforming 2—D flat artwork into three—dimensions.
In the course of researching this project, the area of Graphic Design has been explored deeply; and it is my intention to demonstrate through creative typography and experiments with formal layout, that using a grid is always the best policy.
My aim is to use the grid, Chinese characters and photography to create a new visual communication. There are 6 kinds of posters and 6 kinds of stories about Tainan.
此張海報以台南的舊鐵窗花為主題，在各個巷弄拍攝收集各種造型的鐵窗花，再以'巷弄' '鐵窗花'等關鍵字拆解，結合影像，傳達新的視覺故事。
The poster is inspired from Chinese characters "鐵窗花" (traditional iron windows in Taiwan) and photos were taken in Tainan.

Use the led lights to substantiate the intersection of the grid.
以照片的影像摺紙實體化字體。
Make origami paper to substantiate the images.
以透明絲線，把格線實體化。
Use transparent thread to substantiate the grid.
