This show is an exploration of combining two types of art forms. Watercolor and textile art. My watercolors are doodle-like organic pod-like shapes. I then pinned these to wood, plotted more pins tracing elements of the watercolor with different colors of string. The end result is a multi-dimensional piece of art that challenges the viewer to ask "how was that done?" and forces them to take a step in for a closer look.
