The first "Ecology Festival" in my hometown.
Theme - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Tesnjar is the old quarter of the city of Valjevo, in Serbia. It originated in the 19th century and was a long time trade center, located on the right bank of Kolubara. On weekends, Tesnjar serves as the youth's main place for a pub crawl since there are many bohemian-style pubs. It is declared a Cultural Heritage of Serbia. Valjevo changes its many faces of the arts, especially theatre and film because of "Tesnjar's nights" ("Tesnjarske veceri"). Since 1987, this cultural festival has been a part of lives many people.

JoakimInterFest is named after Joakim Vujic (1772-1847), the first Serbian court theater director in Kragujevac 1835/36.
This is a very professional festival about theatre plays.
The river Tresnjica originates in the south-west of Mount Povlen. With its many gorges and steep cliffs the Tresnjica area also resembles a canyon. The Tresnjica canyon is of extraordinary importance for the wildlife of the area and it has been placed under legal protection in order to preserve the very rare natural habitat of the griffon vulture, 17 pairs of which inhabit this magnificent canyon and in Serbia can only be seen in the canyon of the river Uvac otherwise. The griffon vulture is the largest vulture in this area and feeds exclusively on the remains of dead animals hence keeping the nature clean and being called ‘ the Emperor of the Heights and the Nature Cleaner’. It is an endangered species at risk of extinction and ecologists do everything they can to save them from disappearing. The Tresnjica canyon is also well-known for the huchen fish, aka the Queen of the Drina, which come from the Drina to spawn here every spring. Also, this area has many other rare species.
"Abrasevic" city theatre from Valjevo is one of the oldest and the most important theatre in Serbia. This is my poster when "Abrasevic" has celebrated centenary.
