Pot Heads - Tea Packaging For Young Adults

Pot Heads
Pot Heads is a personal branding and packaging project, inspired by my love of tea. Dublin is famous for it's very strong drinking culture. Growing up in that environment was a bit awkward, as I personally never developed a taste for alcohol. Ireland's tea drink habits are almost as popular but this exists more so with the older generation.

I set out to create an interactive and controversial tea brand that could easily become something young adults could socialize over. The combination of fun tea leaf tips and a tea reading instruction manual, makes this tea the perfect talking point at parties. I wanted the design to be friendly and to look as though it could have been hand made by a friend or family member. Both the logo and the illustrations were painted with actual tea and the typography was hand written.

I also created an inspiring tea chest gift set. The selection of mini tea tins allows the customer to try the full variety of flavors on offer. A chalk board tea pot is also included to track the fortune telling predictions of friends, along with stylish illustrated badges to wear after the games are over.
