Stations is a modular system that can be assembled in numerous urban configurations, such as parklets, terraces, kiosks, temporary shops, and more. The idea came after studying the tactical urbanism movement that is becoming more and more popular nowadays.
___

The components are made to be rapidly and easily assembled and disassembled, with few simple tools. Furthermore, the components can be reused for multiple configurations during their lifetime. The principle is comparable to Lego blocks.

We made efforts to have as few different components as possible. This helps storage, transport, and reduces fabrication costs.

Some basic public furniture that can be created with the system.

This wooden prototype shows how the frame is assembled.

___

We made some 1:20 models of some of the configurations we liked. Two of them are parklets, or public terraces. The third one is a kiosk, for selling tickets or food.

___

Some exploratory configurations we created during the project.
