CONLANG, which means constructed language, has existed for a long time throughout human history. The most famous example is Esperanto, an invented language intended for political and cultural neutrality, which is continuously used by certain groups of people.
For this assignment, I am going to design my own CONLANG. The article, Audience, Uglossia, and CONLANG, and the book, In The Land of Invented Language, gives a clue of how to start constructing an invented language. To design the language, I looked at patterns and ornaments from different cultures. Then by using the language I had created, I designed a map based on a well-known fairy tale constructed by pictograms. The story can be decoded by reading through the dictionary of the language I have created.
