Approach
For this project, we needed to find an existing deli, analyze it and then design a whole packaging system for it. I chose a German deli, Münchner Haus, which has served the San Francisco East Bay for 30 years. The owner bought the store 25 years ago and started to serve customers by providing fresh food. I designed a new logo to give them a more modern feeling. The concept of logo comes from the transactional German house. The new logo not only refreshes the look and feel of this deli, but also provides a strong symbol to customers as something that’s easy to remember.
