RING
"THISTLE"

Materials: silver, amethyst crystals, shell of sea urchin, hot enamel

The history of the ring and the birth of the idea.

The story itself began initially with the purchase of the shell of the sea urchin, walking the souvenir markets and stalls with shells in the south, I happened to see the shells of sea urchins, they were all pretty big, but to stay I began to look at them, and among the larger saw this pink miracle . This was the smallest sea urchin from all that I saw and it was a nice, rich pink color. I immediately took it, knowing that he will be the center of the composition of my new jewelry.

The idea is that this will be the ring came when I began to draw and to study the shape of the shell. It is very well located on the hand, having such a bend that it was clear that he would be on the ring. In the process of sketching and reflection I realized that prickles shell like inflorescences thistle, after a few sketches of the idea "Thistle" ring where the central place occupies the shell of the sea urchin.

Amethyst Crystal to the top of the ring I chose it because of the right color, purple, the same as that of the thistle flowers.
