"OH, CRAP!" – Nathan Drake
Nathan "Nate" Drake (born Nathan Morgan) is the main protagonist and playable game character of Naughty Dog's Uncharted series.
"A capable treasure hunter with a knack for getting in over his head, Nathan Drake possesses both a deep knowledge of history and the devil's own luck. Though his involvement in treasure hunting provides him with the adrenaline rush he so craves, it hasn't yet yielded much in the way of actual treasure. Loves: researching ancient civilizations and lost artifacts. Hates: clowns." – Official Uncharted 4: A Thief's End bio.
Relating to Naughty Dog's original intention when creating the character, Nate is outwardly and genuinely an "everyman" type of person. His most prominent trait is his dry humour, even in dangerous situations, which can cause him to appear unprofessional. Nate's "Oh crap!" (often combined with a "No no no no!") moments have become a trademark signature, spawning YouTube videos and a mention by PlayStation Magazine as to the amount of times he says it.
Style and technique?
Being an Icon for this generations game adventurers (following Naughty Dog’s Crash Bandicoot), we decided to honour Nate with his own badge logo.
In this badge logo we included lots of different elements of the character, the series, the producers and other parts of the PlayStation Universe. Some only to be notified by Uncharted enthusiasts.
The grungy vintage style suits perfectly Nate’s appearance throughout the series. As a treasure hunter he always gets in big fucking trouble “No No No No” and is drifting around in crappy areas.
