WINTER 2010 DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITYBEDS YEAR 3
For Representation class, we were given a copper plate and we had to cut a 4" circle out of it. From here, we had to form a sphere by scrapping plaster against the copper plate. This was an exercise in taking a 2D circle and forming a 3D sphere. Once we had the sphere, we had to draw it in pencil (returning to a 2D medium), as well as draw and interpretive "making of the sphere" drawing. The final part was to build a case or stand for the sphere and to draw it orthographically.
