This is a concept drawing of a fencing shoe for Asics, based off their GEL-DS 16 shoe design. I have created alterations to transform this shoe into a form more functional for the sport.
Changes performed:
- thicker rounder heel to support lunging
- more covering over toe
- stronger ankle support
- thicker rubber that climbs higher up sides of shoe
