A small series of anaglyphic 3D photos taken for my junior-level photography class.
Create a photography series which requires the interaction of the viewers. As a very open-ended project, it was possible to create any series which forced the audience to see photographs in a different way. I chose to explore the concept of creating Anaglyphic 3D photos which had the viewer put on 3D glasses in order to view.
Each photo below is a composite of two seperate photographs - one for the left eye and one for the right eye. When put together, they create what our eyes see when viewed with 3D glasses. Naturally, the images below will be far more engaging if you view them with a pair of red/cyan 3D glasses. The photos will appear to both pop out and dive into your screen; this effect varies based on how the photo was taken and how it was post-processed.
