Enviromental Design - IHG Hotel
Project brief :
"IHG are giving you the opportunity to create a hotel room of the future, for one of their seven hotel groups. The nature itself consist of all types of shapes, nothing is constant. The square function as a contrast to the nature.The mirror material on one of the sides reflects the nature and in one way helps the cube to blend in. On the inside you cansee out, but because of the mirror material no one can see in. The feeling of taking a shower outside, and the glassflooring which reveals the nature beneath you gives you a feeling of being one with nature.The other side of the hotel room, however, does not reflect any light. This part of theroom symbolizes where many animals feel safe and warm, their nob, it is tight and dark.
