Starting with an image as a background, I painted over the image using Adobe Illustrator Draw. It took a few months of short plane flights to finish the project. It seemed that flights were the only place I had time to work on this. I am not an illustrator, so this was fun and relaxing to get on a plane and spend a few minutes just drawing (or coloring more accurately).
