I created this typography based on the art deco style that was used on New York in the 1930's. A lot of sketching was done to reach the style I was looking for, and it kept evolving even when it was being vectorized. After the sketching it was drawn on millimetric paper to give it uniformity, traced on paper and then digitally on Adobe Illustrator. Here are some images of the process and the final result
