This is something that I have been working on for a while now. I started it before I was pregnant and am now finishing it after my son was born. Picking up where I left off a year ago...this piece is really meaningful to me. I started it when struggling to get pregnant and since then it's developed into even more. I feel it represents the struggle of all women who want children, have lost a child, or have a child in NICU.

I am filling in the background with crosshatching and defining more of the shapes.
