All I Ever Knew

I have composited my painting idea on the computer, now at step two I have transferred the computer composition to the canvas. I printed out the computer composition onto paper, then rubbed charcoal on the back of the paper. I taped the paper (masking tape) and then using a hard pencil and some pressure followed the major shapes and details until I had the basic outline of the idea onto the canvas. I then took off the paper and proceeded to draw in the finer detail. Notice that my background is not white. I am going to use old techniques of the masters and work with underpainting and glazes. I use a yellow ocher, burnt sienna, and white mixture of oils as my base color.
