AIA Booklet
American Institute of Architects is a national professional association of architects. This piece is an informational booklet for the AIA that's purpose is to be handed out to prospective students or people who might be interested in architecture or a career in architecture. The booklet is meant to inform people of what it means to be an architect and exactly how to go about pursuing a career in the field.
Visuals were not provided, so I had to do some research and find some related material to include throughout the book. I remembered that in the past I came across an interesting mobile interactive environment created to promote the city of Mannheim, Germany's 400th Anniversary. I based the design of this booklet entirely off of this structure and created illustrations that I included throughout the book along with captions telling you a little bit about the structure. I felt this would be a perfect thing to include as visuals. I felt it would draw in a younger crowd to be open to the option of choosing an architect as a career.
