This was a self initiated project exploring some animation in Maya. The brief was to promote a charity event for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The event was a cycle ride from London to Paris and the idea was to have the daffodils sprout behind the cyclists as they travel.

Below I've included some screenshots and a few short test animations from my first outing using Maya. I've got to admit it was a difficult learning curve for em and it took a long time to get to grips with it's processes.
I plan on making some more shorts using the program in future, however I think I'll simplify the imagery as building models was quite complicated at times.
