The playful surrealism and clean sophistication of Belgian artist, Rene Magritte has been among my greatest inspirations since I started taking pictures. A personal series I've had on my list of personal projects for a few years, I just needed to find the right muse and best location to put this together in a way it would explain itself. I've been shooting at Parque de la Memoria in Buenos Aires for months, taking clients for Foto Ruta workshops, and realized it offered the stark backgrounds I was looking for. I met professional circus artist, Dario Ayala a couple of years ago and from the work we've done on several contracts, I knew he'd have just the right abilities and personality to get into a role like this. Just a personal series and a gift of unrestrained artistic time I needed to give to myself. A special thanks to Dario for helping me to skillfully breech security and for coming out to play.
