In 2004 I entered the Macross Monster Box Design Contest, this was a contest open to designers all over the world. The design had to be attractive, informative, thematic to Macross and 1 Color.
This is the box design I entered and was put up against 25 other entries and my design was chosen as the winner. Below is the box design flattened as well as a close up look at all the sides.
I have been a fan of Robotech/Macross ever since I was a child, this was a fun and rewarding experience.
To my knowledge, the box was never made, I was told that they ran out of funds before going into production.
