Angel series Im working on. Im trying to aim for some unique appearances to challenge my creativity. I named the series Vanquisher because each of them are assigned to conquer a different negative emotion( or Vanquish hence the name).

Lost some valuable time, trying to finish the sketch layout so I could fill in the details.

Sorry for the massive delay. Here is the long awaited update to the first of the Vanquisher series. I was showing this piece around and I received mixed opinions from several. It was mainly centered towards the chest armor piece, but a few also wanted more animated body position so I made another variation. I still plan to finish this piece either way since I came so far, hopefully I could apply some changes to make it more appealing. Let me know what you think.

The beginning of the variation. I obviously went for more of a battle ready position. The chest piece took many turns until It finally reach its final form.

Wow those wings took forever...............................The piece is about 95% done. there is some thing else I have to put behind it, but its going to be important for the main theme of the Vanquisher Project.

This is the next angel for whom Im taking on more of a Nature approach. I was heavily inspired by certain plants like the "Silver fern frond" and the "Ravenala", traditional kimono and ancient egyptian outfits were also a big influence when I was designing the outfit. Something really excites me about this piece, but I cant put it into words..........
