Problem

A visual identity and user interface needed to be designed for a hypothetical app called Price Drop. In the app users search for products, much like Amazon, but when they find a product of interest, users can flag it and be notified later when the price goes down. Timely notification of sales is what makes this conceptual app shine.

Solution

The brand and interface needed to communicate simplicity, speed, and savings. To aid the design process, user research was first conducted. This helped establish a vision for the expected functionality of the app. Next, simple wireframes were created and shown to prospective users for feedback on layout and hierarchy.

With a validated layout, attention now shifted to the visual layer of the interface. Color, typography, and spacing were all meticulously considered while building an easy to navigate interface.
