The Hero of a Hundred Fights is essentially a bindup of Ned Buntline’s dime store novels of the wild west. Though we had no illustrations for the title, I felt it was important to use the chapter openers to send the reader back in time with the typography and keep the atmosphere as “wild west” as possible. My role was as Design Manager and interior Designer.
