This is a logo animation created to be shown before each of my video projects.
In the midst of thinking up the idea for the animation, I had been watching the M. Night Shyamalan film, Signs. For some reason the scene where Merill (Joaquin Phoenix) is hiding out in the closet with the TV and then wakes up to the broadcast test screen, really stuck in my head. As I thought more about it, I started to like the idea of going with a classic broadcast TV theme. I guess you could say my inspiration for this project evolved from the masterpiece of one of the top filmmakers (in my opinion) of this day.
