The Mission At Velocity Physio, Annie Gow and Erica Meloe (Co-owners/Directors) integrate manual therapy and other physiotherapy techniques along with pain education in order to improve movement and motor control. Their proven approach to quick and long lasting recovery is based on kinetic restructuring. Since no part of the neuromuscular system operates independently, the injured area must be treated in the context of the supporting areas around it. By using a clinical reasoning process that considers the interplay of movement and stability throughout your entire body, they identify and correct the root of the problem as opposed to just treating the symptom. Most importantly, they partner with you to plan your recovery and rehabilitate you back to your full potential while, at the same time, helping you achieve a healthier and more active lifestyle. The Challenge Annie and Erica wanted an identity and a web site that felt fresh, bold and bright. They wanted their philosophy and shared knowledge to be expressed through the design of their materials. They did not want their site to feel like other “out of the can” PT (Physical Therapy) sites. By creating a partnership with their patients, they create a unique, warm and healing environment. We wanted this to come through the graphic design of their site. By using organic circular elements and graphic images, the site feels very approachable and contemporary. Within their site, you will learn about their practice, their team, monthly “how to” videos and useful links to empower the patient. A true partnership! Their daily twitter feed is embedded on the home page to keep the site current with news, trends and helpful hints for their current patients and target audience. Read Less

Brand Identity, Print Collateral and Web Design
"Shari is an amazing creative designer who consistently delivers successful results time and time again. She truly gets at the heart of your business and then executes a well designed plan based on your goals.

Not only does Shari excel at the creative aspect of her job but she is the consummate professional who brings years of experience into her work. She really keeps you “on track” and has a knack for architecturing a well designed web site.

We constantly get raves about our website- it is fresh and well designed. Shari’s design sense is sophisticated and clever.

Shari has also done our business cards, signage and brochure. She has the talent for capturing our idea and brand image and weaving it throughout our marketing materials, almost making herself an extension of our organization in the process.

It has been my good fortune to work with Shari!"
