Great tools, and fast production. I opted for Wordpress with a Jigoshop cart, giving them the fine tuned shipping control, QuickBooks integration to avoid having to learn a new inventory method and added an affiliate area as well.

Leaps andBones.com is a boutique based shop for all things dog. With 2 locations in Connecticut the owners, Amy & Laurie handmake and bake hundreds of all natural, gourmet and locally sourced dog biscuits. Their drive and passion speaks clearly in their shops - but creating a website presented hurdles for them that they just wouldn't have the time or tools to get over.
That's where I step in! I was excited to see just how chaotic their existing site was. (Shame on you GoDaddy "Website Tonight") I could see that the owners had spent tons of their time to try to bend the wysiwig system to their will but to no avail. So, with their tight budget in mind I aimed for easy to upkeep, and tied to all things social. This way the owners could continue to share their personalities via Facebook and Twitter without feeling that maintaining their site would be any more effort than that.

The first of Leaps & Bones' new site mail campaigns. We moved the mailing list to the awe-inspiring Mailchimp system and were ready to kick off the social switch!
Affiliates: I created a fair variety of ads based on the new color & style palate, and the affiliate plugins for Wordpress made the rest easy as pie.
