    The linguistics department of Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki asked us to design their advertising campaign. The goal was to have an idea that would appeal to a young audience but also to parents. We decided to use the popular phrase "Richaine Bitte" a Greek German-sounding phrase which means “Come in, the water is shallow...” which was instantly counter-answered by another Greek popular phrase “Min tsibas!”, which means “Don’t bite!” (like a fish would bite), urging the viewer to discover the real German language. The design was applied on posters, bus-stops, banners, TV and radio spots. Read Less
