Rhodes-D-Signs has had an ongoing fascination with Hospital Advertising, Medical Insurance Advertising, and medical awareness advertising via Providence, Swedish, Children's and Evergreen Hospital Advertising, Regence Blue Shield and Premera, and Haborview Injury Prevention and Research Center work. As proof of her passion, Ann volunteers as a State Certified EMT with King County Search and Rescue.
Ann Rhodes has played with beer, including Pabst Blue Ribbon, Pyramid Ales and Thomas Kemper. Beer advertising is attitude. And the research to find out about it is fun, too.
Ann Rhodes worked on Therm-a-Rest, Seal Line,  Sweetwater, and Platypus advertising campaigns. Her wilderness background along with her Search and Rescue training came in handy knowing what things go bump in the night.
Rhodes-D-Signs did a series of ad campaigns for MSR outdoor equipment- specifically their tents, water purifiers, and stoves. Each campaign was dramatically different, emphasizing different traits. This one was strategically aimed at the sturdiness and quality of the MSR brand. Previously they had not tied their advertising together with a similar look and feel, thereby missing an opportunity to brand themselves in the minds of outdoor enthusiasts.
From full size newspaper to small space advertising (above), the idea is to get attention, to get a point across, and to be remembered. Rhodes-D-Signs created the four rotating ultra-small space newspaper ads to run in the local weekly community newspaper and offer a presence for Mercer Island Dermatology. Each ad is roughly the size of a business card and not only gained attention for the client, they brought in business- focusing on specific offerings available within the clinic.
