Morehead City Police Department
 Morehead City, North Carolina
Designed as a joint facility to house both the Morehead City Police Department and the Carteret County 911 Communications Center, this 24,000 SF project completed construction in December 2010.  The building features a hardened structure, hurricane resistant rated framing and glazing, high efficiency and redundant HVAC systems, full-facility generator back-up, card access control and security camera systems.  Co-located on a site with a historic school building master planned to become the new City Hall, this building houses all Police divisions and functions, the consolidated 911 Communications Center for the entire County, and the Emergency Operations Center / Training Classroom which is shared between all building occupants.
