2014 marks the first time in their history that the World Lacrosse Championships are being held outside of the eastern coast of the United States. US Lacrosse was in search of a compelling new identity to highlight the week-long celebration of the sport. The solution features a geographically driven identity that also incorporates a heroic lacrosse figure. Also inspired by the host city of Denver, the color palette features the primary colors of the Colorado state flag.
