Communicatingis a concept by which this product seeks to alert the consumer about how muchcereal he has left in the box and at the same time promotes creativity in kids.This is accomplished by means of this new intelligent packaging.

The client,Quaker Oats, leading company in production and sales of oat products, alliedwith PEPSICO, seeks to renew their products, but with no clue as to whichdirection to head. The problem addressed is basically not knowing how muchcereal you have left, since breakfast is the most important meal of the day,and sometimes there isn’t enough cereal for a decent breakfast. Normal boxesjust stay in the cupboard and you are never aware of how much cereal you haveleft.

The designconsists of the cereal box breaking of into three different heights, withpre-perforated lines to guide. As the cereal decreases enough, a section istorn off. These cut sections are also perforated so kids can assembleairplanes, so they can play. With this idea we captivate kids curiosity, in amanner that they want to have their breakfast so they can be able to tear offthe section and play with the airplanes thy themselves can build. This gives them countless hours of fun, thisin turn helps kids have a good, full breakfast so they can take full advantageof school.
