Crash Test Mummy rebrand and brand development

Crash Test Mummy
Re-branding and concept development
An exciting new concept in the blogging world. We distinctly set Crash Test Mummy apart from the competitors by using bold, bright, fun colours that are eye-catching and energetic when compared to the overused, pastel palette associated with families and babies. Initially conceived as an outlet for a tired and frustrated, new mother, CTM evolved into a safe haven where other parents come for inspiration and motivation to get sorted, take care and have fun.

Since re-branding the blog in December 2011, Crash Test Mummy has caught the eye of the most successful blogger in Australia, Darren Rowse of ProBlogger, and Laney has been invited to be a guest speaker at the Problogger Training Event. Her topic, "How to take a new blog to success."

Main logo incorporating the crash test dummy hazard symbol. Crash test dummies are anthropomorphic test devices (ATD) which simulate the human body. Crash Test Mummy simulates your experiences and posts results in a similar fashion to testing done on ATDs.

Customised social icons to reflect the brand.

Progression of brand to incorporate the more community-involved Crash Test Mummies.com. By contrast to the previous banner, we now have several ATD's (anthropomorphic test devices) participating in the crash testing with varying results. There is no right or wrong, it's up to the public to test and review within categories and guidelines set up by Laney and a panel of other "experts".

The Sugar Crash icon was used for a specific diet crash test. The Crash Hot is used when something needs to be shouted about.
