What was once, and would have been, but is no more
Driving down a dusty country road, the summer heat enveloped everything in sight but us. The AC at full blast quickly evaporating the sweat beads that were running down our faces just moments ago. As we approached the corner we so commonly visit, the awe-inspiring overtook me. The tragedy of what lay only feet away from me, the thought of what was only 24 hours ago had astounded me. The following series is my attempt at transcribing the seemingly surreal, for the viewer to stand in my shoes that hot, August day.
