I created this magazine for a school project.
I really like mangas, so I decided to create a Manga Magazine using InDesign.
My Magazine's name is Ikebana because of the typical Japanese art of flower arrangement. The magazine has several references to Japanese culture (graphic elements and logo for example).
It has 52 pages and contains:
• One Interview
• 4 Articles (about Culture and News from Japan)
• 5 Periodical
    - Manga suggestion
    - Movie suggestion
    - Learn to Draw
    - Manga Convention
    - New Arrival
    - Letters from fans
• An A3 double face poster

Every article was written by me (but I had some help from some mangas website which gaves me news, images and so on).

I wanted to emphasize the importance of the color white as a symbol in the Japanese Culture, where simplicity and essential are very important elements in japanese design.
Layouts aren't the same for every single article, but some elements are identical. For example the vertical text indicates the section and the topic. A Sakura branch is used as a graphic frame for the magazine. It is inspired by the magazine logo.
I used a Pastel Palette because I wanted to give the magazine a sense of softness and elegance.
I used 3 fonts in the entire magazine:
Lemon/Milk for Titles
Signoria for Subtitles
Glametrix for Body
