SHI-JAK(時作, 始作)

Shi-Jak (時作,始作)
 : Creating time (時作, 時: time, 作: create), The beginning (始作, 始: for the first time, 作: work)

‘Shi-Jak(時作,始作)’ has two meanings; 始作(The beginning), which signifies the first new step of the graduates, and 時作(Creating time), which shows the time-using characteristics of motion pictures. In this video I put my hopes that we will grow mature as time passes, like a forest changing colors as time goes from night to morning.
Shi-Jak is the theme of 3rd Degree show of Entertainment Design in Kookmin University.
Shi-Jak is 始作(The beginning) and 時作(Creating time).

Sharing one pronunciation Shi-Jak in Korean, it has two meanings created by Chinese characters;
始作(The beginning; 始: for the first time, 作: work) and 時作(Creating time; 時: time, 作: create).

Since it is an exhibition of media art, which is considered art of time, it is 時作(Creating time).
And since the exhibition is not held by professional artists but students of Entertainment Design in Kookmin University, it is 始作(The beginning) of the communication with the world.

In this exhibition young talents who will guide the culture of creation in the future, share their visions and ambitions through Degree show and signal Shi-Jak(始作, 時作) to the world.
