Telfair Ball Invitation Suite This year’s theme was “Reflections” in honor of the 10th year anniversary of Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center. For the invitation and event collateral I was inspired by the theme to find stationery and techniques that reflected and shined. The traditional gift for a 10th anniversary is metal. This was carried throughout the invitation suite and printed materials through luminous and shiny accents, including a rainbow invitation card, ebony envelopes, and silver foil stamping. The duplex invitation card front was reflective Kromekote Rainbow Foil with black thermography printing and the back was bright white with silver foil. The RSVP Card was also bright white with silver foil. The RSVP envelope was accented with silver foil and the main envelope was graced with silver ink calligraphy highlighted with a custom postage stamp. I wanted this design suite to incorporate a conceptual approach. Here the mirrored paper reflects our members and our past—art, history, and architecture. Every detail was reflective and luminous. I designed angled corners on the invitation card to suggest a mirror shape, allowing invitees to see themselves and hopefully attend to continue their vital support. I created a vector silhouette of the Jepson Center to honor our building and the art and people inside. I am proud of my designs, but a real success was for Telfair Museums; funds raised that evening through tickets, live auction, and silent auction exceed Telfair’s goals. It was so fun incorporating delightful colors and textures in a modern and classy way for a fantastic event! Read Less
