Overview / Logo
For my capstone final project I chose to design an organic baby company called Sprouts. I started by creating the logos I would be using for my company. I say logos because even though the logo below is the final logo for the overall company, I also created three additional logos/icons that would distinguish the different departments of products. I used the peas in the pod for the food products, the ducky for the bath products and the baby carriage for gear and apparel.
Packaging
Below I included images of all the packaging I created for this project. I created a variety of products to make my display as realistic as possible. I loved doing all the packaging for this project and I learned so many new printing techniques along the way! For example, I learned how to print on tissue paper using an everyday in-home printer (see bags below).
Annual Report
Here is a digital version of the annual report I created for my company. I photographed all of the images in the booklet, except for the first baby with the orange blanket and the woman on the shareholders page. You can see the various packaged items I designed and how the additional logos/icons are used for the different product types.
Advertisements
Here are the advertisements I created for my company's products. I have always been obsessed with Anne Geddes' baby photos and that is where I drew my inspiration from for the two color ads. For the newspaper ad, I wanted to keep it as simple as possible since newspapers are already heavy with copy. I photographed all the images except for the baby in the first ad. I shot the gardening pot, food, soap and baby all separately and then combined the images using Photoshop.
I also included the motion ads I created for online purposes. I personally recorded script for the larger advertisement and cut the music for both. I also photographed everything, except for the blankets in the top ad, and then used After Effects to put everything together.
Stationary
Here is the stationary set design I created for Sprouts.
Final Display
Here are a few images of my final display. It was to act as a mock store front for my company and showcase all the products we have to offer. Overall, I was very happy with how my display turned out. (I apologize for the low quality images, they were taken on my phone.)
