Design Process
If there are forty children in the class and each child has three fruits with her. How many fruits are there in the class?
Seems very easy to solve, right? But it is not that easy for the third graders. Mathematical word problems like the above mentioned is a difficult lesson for children to grasp.
After talking to a few primary school teachers our assumptions were proven correct. They claimed that the biggest challenge while teaching such a lesson is to teach them translate words to numerical equations. Children who have a better command over the language tend to solve the questions with ease. However, as a topic it is quite boring for children and they usually don’t enjoy solving them.
Problem Statement
To make conversion from language to numerical problems understandable, fun and engaging.

The game was well percieved by children of all ages. Cheating, fighting, laughing and challenging all became a part of the play along with enjoying solving mathematical word problem!
