Micro / Macro

This past year, I had a chance to work on an alternate assignment called Micro/Macro. This assignment requires students to read a design-related essay and respond to it in some way. The only requirement for this project is that our final deliverable somehow displays the essay(s) we chose to read. After several small-scale typographic experiments, I decided on creating a book. This book is a collection of three essays: the two I read and my response to those writings. I photographed portions of the essays in environments that I created. The environments act as pull quotes, placing emphasis on important parts of the essays.
