Fantasy Vs Reality Project
The concept for this project was; unreal world, the thin line betweenreality and fantasy and the changing nature of society in relation totechnology.
This was the final stage of the project, in which I modeled large scale cardboard objects of technology and designed a series of t-shirts with 'I LOVE' and a piece of technology, for example 'I Love Playstation'
The idea behind this phase of the project and the t-shirts design was to convey how people feel human emotion towards inanimate objects. I chose to mix the material I used in the actual creation of the t-shirts to show both the real world and the fantasy; in using the red, metallic, foil, glitchy heart the fantasy and technological world was represented and the illustrative, hand-made, gadgets represented the real world.
