This was commissioned way back in 2012, by a friend for her dj set, she was playing some vintage sounds at Pensão Amor, a club in Lisbon, and she ask me if I could do the poster.
My first idea was to do some retro comic cover and lucky I found the perfect inspiration in the vintage magazine Planet Stories, of July 1952, with the cover by Allen Anderson(you can see that cover here)..then just had to add some fun/dancing in the background and voilá, here it is!
