cancer treatment had a negative impact on their confidence.
Another study found that half of the women could not find
the right lingerie to fit their post surgery needs. 

Primary research found that 83% of the participants
rated their self-confidence regarding body image after
breast cancer surgery as five or lower out of ten. The
aim of the brand is to instill confidence in women after
breast cancer surgery.
The target audience is Breast cancer survivors. The
brand is not limited to age, however potentially the
most common customer age group would be between
35-55 years old as the likelihood of breast cancer
increases the older you get. The products would also
be suitable for the unfortunate cases of young women
being diagnosed with breast cancer. The brand tailors
to all surgery types from mastectomy to reconstruction.

This is not a brand for total market coverage it is a niche
market. The brand will be exclusive to the mastectomy
and post surgery market and therefore has an identity
as such, high street retailers market the mastectomy bra
as a sideline, which often consequences in a limited choice.
The website is another means of purchasing the lingerie.
The aim of the redesign of the website was to make the
online ordering process more tailored to the individual so
they know the products they are looking at are suitable
for their needs. Initially there are six quick questions which
will lead customers to the products that are best suited to
them depending on their type of surgery and requirements.

Also the creation of a simple website which is up-to-date,
contemporary and stylish to reflect the product range and
brand ethos. The website is also a space to showcase real
women who inspire the company.
