In September 2015, I was asked to contribute a piece of artwork for the launch of the SCOOP Foundations Art Cook Book in the Light House Cinema.
I wanted to try cram as much Irish callouts into a drawing as possible so ended up taking inspiration from an old video of Luke Kelly signing "Monto" with The Dubliners. Adding in the obligitory packet of Tayto and T.K. Red Lemonade. I was originally going to have hime wearing an Italia '90 T-shirt but chose to keep the lovely orange shirt from the video.
Its always fun to do work for The SCOOP Foundation, knowing that my ropey artwork helps schools getting built in Cambodia and India feels strange!
