Loughborough Design School are a leading British institution in design, listed at the top of the tables for the most employable product design graduates in the UK. The strength of the course needed to reflect in the student's final year show, presenting the work to the highest standard for visiting industry professionals.
Following a successful three-way pitch, we were asked to work with a student team to take their early ideas and develop them into a working concept. The resulting ideas focused on the journey taken during the process of design. This was then carried across all materials, placing a simple line device at the heart of the visuals. The concept was translated into animations for screens, building signage, vinyls, display boards and a 342-page book showcasing each student's work. The outcome was a visually striking degree show identity that met the high standards expected of Loughborough University.
