Architectural Fundamentals III - Artist's Residence
This studio investigated the dynamics of light, space, and choreographed movement in painting and architecture. The perceptual dynamics of configuration, view, frame, image, surface, and transparency, were studied in both mediums and special focus was given to how they are addressed in each. The goal was to design an artist's residence using inspiration from a work of abstract art and compose a choreographed sequence of horizontally and vertically linked spaces.
